Who ARE Hurst Green Singers?

Hurst Green Singers is a friendly group of amateur singers who perform works from the classical repertoire as well as the works of living composers.

We meet weekly across two terms, September to December and January to May, and perform concerts in December and May. We have also held a series of successful Come & Sing events over the last few years. Our next concert is on 12 December, and we are holding a Come & Sing at St John's Church on 7 November. Tickets for both events are available on the Events tab above.

We rehearse on Tuesday evenings at 8pm in St John's Church, Hurst Green.

UPCOMING EVENTS

On Saturday 7th November we will be holding another of our very popular Come and Sing events at St John's Church Hurst Green. This time participants will have the oportunity to spend the afternoon working on the choruses of Mozart's Requiem, with a performance at the end of the day. Our inspirational leader Jamie Meaders will be conducting and Richard Hammond-Hall will be our accompanist.

Our next concert will be on Saturday 12th December 2026 at the Bawtree Hall. We will be performing Dan Forrest's LUX: A Dawn from on High together with two pieces by Ola Gjeilo - and some Christmas Carols. It promises to be a wonderful evening and we look forward to seeing you!
