What's it like to join Hurst Green Singers? New member Phil James tells us how he found it.
I came across the Hurst Green SIngers when I was invited by one of the choir members to listen to their summer concert. I thoroughly enjoyed the concert and was impressed with the quality of the singing, as well as the wonderful musicians and soloists who had joined the evening. I thought I'd give the choir a try as a result, and here I am in my second term already! I feel very lucky that we have such a talented music director in Jamie, who challenges and encourages us to reach our best. It is so nice to know that each week there is a chance to meet together with a large group of singers in person and learn some inspiring music. I've been made to feel very welcome and am looking forward to what lies ahead.
