I became Music Director of Hurst Green Singers in 2018, a year after relocating to the UK and following many years of teaching and conducting in the United States. The choir has been wonderfully generous and welcoming to their “American conductor,” and over the years has enthusiastically embraced new repertoire by living composers alongside the great works of the choral tradition.
I greatly value our weekly Tuesday evening rehearsals and always appreciate the choir’s energy and sincere commitment to making beautiful music together.
